Cabbage Kheer

Kheer is the most popular desert. Cabbage Kheer is crunchy healthy Kheer and can be used in fast too. Here you get a easy badam pista phirni recipe.
 
Preparation Time : 8 minutes
Cooking Time : 15 minutes
Servings : Makes 6 to 8
 
Ingredients
ANANDA MILK 6 cups
Cabbage 11/2 cups
Sugar 11/2 cups
Chopped almonds (badam) 1 tbsp
Blanched and chopped pistachios 1 tbsp
Cardamom (elaichi) powder  
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Saffron (kesar) A few strands
Method
  • Heat the milk in a broad and deep vessel and add the cabbage, mix well and cook for 10 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  • Add the sugar, cardamom and saffron and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add half of the pistachios and almonds mix well and cook for more 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to the serving bowls and garnish with remaining almond and pistachios.
  • Serve hot or chilled.
